Always utilizing the very latest in dental technology, Dr. Kroll and his staff are proud to introduce their new high tech Kodak digital X-ray system. Using a small sensor attached to a computer, they can now generate images instantly, which means no more waiting for films to be developed. Digital X-rays also require less radiation than standard xray film which is great. The larger image (the size of a computer screen) produced by the digital x-ray system helps Dr. Kroll diagnose with better accuracyoral conditions , and when paired with an FDA-approved software program called Logicon can now detect cavities when they are small and in between the teeth. This allows Dr. Kroll to either treat the cavity early, before it causes major damage, or allows him to advise patients on a way to arrest the cavities development using new prescription-strength fluoride toothpastes.
